Pros

Verint provides feature rich high performing product They used to be very sensitive to customers needs Verint offered a choice of what version of the product worked best for the customer

Cons

They are going away from being flexible to customer needs and trying to push what they want on the customer. No longer providing the small services that the customers are used to and need.

Pros

Verint's solutions are really great. They really do focus on solving customer and market problems, and because of that, the company is really successful. There are also some fantastic people. Very bright, very driven, very friendly. Compensation is a little above market average, which is nice. But the rest of the benefits...

Cons

The benefits are all sub-par. They use Aetna for health insurance, and my monthly premium is higher than any previous employer and I get less coverage. For 401K, they match at 50% up until $2000k a year. But since IRS contribution limit for 2022 is $20,000.... This is incredibly meager. So if you want to max your 401k contribution, you have to put in $18k to their $2k (if you're good at math, you'll easily see that this is NOT a 50% match). The vacation policy is absolutely laughable. First, it goes by years of experience with Verint, not years of experience in industry. So even if you come in with 20 years of work experience, you'll have the same vacation time as someone fresh out of college. And that's only 20 days a year, plus 2 floating holidays. But, what they don't tell you until after you start, is that you are forced to use 4 of those days the last week of the year, whether you want to or not. So, you only have 18 days for the other 51 weeks. This is hands-down the worst policy I've ever come across, either from previous employers or from other companies I've interviewed with.
