Horrible place to work.

Pros

Decent pay and good benefits.

Cons

Verisys is a horrible place to work. The supervisors play favorites making it impossible to progress unless they like you. They count how long you are in the bathroom for and talk to you about it afterwards. If you want to be treated like an adult employee this is not the place to work. They babysit their teams and act better than you, which makes it extremely hard to ask questions if you need help with something. I have seen many employees here get fired because they simply didn't like them. They will make up an invalid reason to fire you, or force you to "quit". The environment is like a prison. I do not understand how the supervisors are in the position they are in. I have seen supervisors take advantage of their position and leave for over an hour together and come back with Mcdonald's food, yet if you leave to the bathroom for five minutes they will count every second you are away and try to get you in trouble for it and talk to you about it afterwards. I have seen many employees have to tell their supervisor when they need to go to the bathroom which is ridiculous considering everyone there is an adult. Do not work here, it is not an enjoyable place.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Most of the positions in our Utah office are managed to set performance benchmarks. The idea being, if you are meeting your goals, there is no need to micromanage. The only reason someone might be discussing time management is if you are not meeting your goals. Again, I am sorry to hear that this was not your experience and we will look into the issue.

Pros

Verisys is an employer that asks for extreme attention to detail. On one hand, one mistake can cost a person their job, and on the other we stop fraud from continuing to run rampant. I feel as if I am doing something great for this country and the citizens that call America home. Verisys is continuously growing, and every employee is like a family member, treated with respect and dignity. Managers, team leads and other employees will take time to help and mold you into a great processor. Questions are welcomed at any time, and no one bats an eye to answer it. Quickly and effectively. The PTO accrual rate is amazing and the benefits package is very good. Without having a college degree and with receiving this training has been a huge stepping stone to help towards my future goals and career.

Cons

Communication is key in a successful company. At times, weekly staff meetings are called off and that leaves us in the dark. I like to see what we are projected to receive, what new batches are coming through and what the level of each batch is. Just continue our meetings, please!
