      Pathetic company about to close yet another warehouse

      Hours are early but that was thanks to the union

      Cons

      Management is useless Safety is a joke Most workers are on the phones or just hangin out doing nothin The pay is even a bigger joke, 36 cent raise in five years! Health insurance co payments go up every year

      Great starting pay Motivated management staff Lots of support Lots of long-term employees Great upward mobility potential New SLT is motivated and changing the company in a positive way

      Cons

      Dated systems - actively trying to improve this. In the past, they sometimes operated in silos they are actively trying to change that right now. Not many perks for sales staff - no car allowance, no gas allowance, no company card to entertain customers they can be very frugal on things like that. I'm concerned they are starting to focus on "woke" things. Don't get political, focus on the business and our customers. Our personal political views are ours and are private don't force us into your ideology.

      Pros

      In my region training and team work is great. The pay is not bad 401 match is nice. This is the first sales job I have had that has a great work and personal life mix. I enjoy my job and team, looking forward to a great future with Veritiv.

      Cons

      No mileage or expenses paid after a carton point (12-18 months). New commission plan needs a lot of work.
