They have trouble delivering a complete or accurate order. The recent merger cut way too many good experienced people, which is what they claim is their most important asset. Competitors get ready, they will be shedding a lot of accounts that they can't figure out how to make profitable. The sales people get hit with any dreamed up charges to restrict their income and make the company look more profitable. Many quality sales people jumped ship just before the merger.

Employees were terminated after being with the company from 20 to 40+ years with no severance pay. Only compensated with 2 weeks' pay. Not a good way to treat hard working loyal people that are close retirement age that wanted to keep working. Company hired several people within the past year to do the same job with less experience. You're just a number. Management has no idea what it takes to do this job. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes that they are not even aware of that you don't get credit for. It's a business where you're always learning something new. They push Veritiv Values. Where are values when it comes to letting people go!
