Pros

Good benefits and tuition reimbursement program. Many training opportunities and support for professional certification. Unofficial opportunity for working from home.

Cons

Management lacking in leadership skills, professional responsibility, and ethics. More and more job functions are being off-shored. Continuous down sizing.

Pros

Verizon truly rewards people who deliver on high value projects. It gives you an opportunity to manage and directa wide ranging of projects with both scope and scale.

Cons

Typical big corporation mentality in certain parts. Promotions are hard to come by. Constant reduction in force is a demotivator
