High Pay, No Life

Pros

Great Pay and Benefits, great employee discounts and monthly cell phone discount, new store design coming that really sets them apart from competition

Cons

No work/life balance, company claims to win all these rewards but in retail you will work the retail hours. Compensation structure keeps changing and you often have a flavor of the week sales mentality. If the whole store doesn't work as 1 unit then you will be frustrated and feel alone. Career advancement is very slow, don't believe what they tell you in interview, could be 3 years or more before you get first promotion. Promotions are not always based on numbers more often politics and who is the most liked by the DM.
