Pros

Looks good on resume Great Benefits (employee phone program, insurance, vacation time, 401k) Pretty Good compensation (use to be better, now they don't want reps making much money)

Cons

(Not enough room in this box for cons, but name a few) Horrible work/life balance (if in retail) Usually have to start in retail Constant commission re-structure change Although good vacation benefits, you can hardly get a vacation approved if in retail Advancement opportunity? Unless you're liked by management, you can't advance (in other words, if you dislike a certain product, you're negative...they ask you and you have to lie and say you love it!) Verizon always raves about being great company to work for...YEAH, if you're in a coorporate environment! If you're in retail, you're treated like a nobody! If management doesn't like you, they block your career path...they'll actually do you hard to advance
