Pros

Money, If you can sell you can make money. Great benefits, If you are a fan of tech getting to see some stuff constantly was always a great perk.

Cons

It all depends on your management and district management. A great manager can make the problems and make it manageable. But even a great manager cannot fix or prevent the overbearing nature of a bad district manager. You will see people cheat to slam hums onto an account, with the district manager turning a blind eye to it or even defending it because it makes them look good. If you plan to make a career out of it try to get into Verizon wireless outside of the sales sphere otherwise you will get stuck and locked into it. If you do not mind forcing things people dont need on them then you will be fine, but if you feel bad telling that little old lady she needs an Ipad this isn't the job for you.

Pros

-Pay was decent -Benefits are amazing (401k match, tutition assistance, medical, dental etc.) -Coworkers were the reason I loved my job for so long -Got to play with the new mobile technology as it came out

Cons

-Encouraged to do whatever you can to get the sale, even if it bends the truth -Forced to sell Verizon's terrible products (Hum/home phone/jetpack) and written up if you did not. - Upper management has barely any interactions with the store, but insists on controlling how you are allowed to sell, giving you a list around ten items long of stuff you must do with every customer, and written up if you don't. List included defined verbage and actions and typically was not natural in any transaction. -Was told to straight up lie about customer satisfaction surveys and who the surveys were actually about.
