Pros

Company has vast global reach providing engineer with opportunities to touch and expand knowledge with almost all vendor network and security appliances.

Cons

Sweat shop atmosphere stems from aforementioned pros. Expect to know everything about everything with very little room for errors and without assisted training and resources from management.

Pros

Pay-They do pay you well on commissions. Make sure you negotiate your hourly though. Training-Their Sales training program is Great..good for any sales or non sales job in the future. Insurance-well covered. Resume ladder-it is a very good stepping stone to future sales jobs.

Cons

Stress-The stress is very high, especially if you work in their larger volume stores. Alot of sharks among the team at those places. However, team were still good people. Get out of the sales position as soon as possible, and move up to a corporate role. Dont sacrifice your health for money. My heart rate rose as a result and I had to step back for a bit. Overtime is encourages-50-60 plus hours a week. This takes away form your health, quality of life and ability to sell. When I cut down to 40 hrs a week, I had my greatest month fr sales. Management can be great, but also a bit gamey in handling their employees. It probably works on some, but harms moral with others.

Pros

Salary and Benefits, the union who watches out for workers rights

Cons

Too much micro managing. Also upper management wants to tear down a great company by outsourcing the work so they no longer hire good people within the USA to do the trade jobs.
