It was an amazing place to work and now its just good.

Pros

I moved up in the company and learned a lot. The first 4 years they treated us very well, always giving us gifts and tshirts.

Cons

The last 2-3 years the company stopped giving us gifts and stopped recognizing us as much. Pay raises weren't great, I left making just $5 more than those that just started. For a communications company, communication was terrible.

Pros

Verizon has great benefits. Educational, Medical, Health and Well Being, Adoption, and Pet assistance. There is also a year bonus and stock options too. I have been here for 14 years and plan on another 14!

Cons

The only cons I see that other people have may be the work schedules. That has never been a concern of mine. I am happy to have a good paying job with benefits.
