      Respect for diversity and generous 401k matching and company matched contribution to non-profit of your own choosing

      You get to move up the corporate ladder not only because of your own capability but you need strong allies and in the right clique of senior management

      Pros

      none or "well, you have a job", there are no career paths, there are no promotions, there is no reason to work there unless your goal is to get a routine paycheck.

      Cons

      entire staff being outsourced to india workers who do not talk to verizon employees. they put india workers who talk in foreign languages, have no dress code and wear beach clothes to work in the same areas as the US workers. the US workers require a dress code while the india workers walk around the office barefoot and with blue jeans. the india workers have no intention of talking english in the office.
