Pros

very strong company with lots of opportunity for advancement if you are willing to relocate, very good sales and product knowledge training, excellent pay for those who are good at sales and are driven, I felt accomplished as an employee and I feel that I had some quality leaders to learn from and mimic for success

Cons

no work/life balance, not good if have kids, family, or want a life outside of VZW. I did not feel appreciated for my hard work and extra hours put in. Great was never good enough even when goals were succeeded. Changes to commission stucture made a huge cut to pay.

Pros

Lots of training on systems and new devices and features. A network and phones that work and you can be confident selling. Fair in disciplinary actions and methods.

Cons

Promote a positive work/life balance but upper management discourages time off. Very little opportunity for promotions, most movement is lateral. Lots of micromanagement. Most of the hiring and placement is handled by Human Resources, without taking store chemistry and personalities int account.
