Pros

It is a paying job There are some amazing people that work at this company. You will make some great friends. Some good ideas and projects are discussed and sometimes properly implemented. Medical/Dental/Vision/401K available The building is new-ish and large. Building is located in Mesa (if you live near that area this is a pro) Building is open 24/7 so you can work anytime.

Cons

No work/life balance Expected to get EVERYTHING done regardless of what it will take. Never do anything without request/decision in writing, management will stab you in the back to save themselves. A lot of lies between management and employees. Money is the only thing that upper management (from managers to CEO) cares about. The employees are just slave labor. There is a "Just get it done" attitude. Even if you need to build trash.

Thank you for your input; it appears you worked at Verra Mobility for some time, so thank you for your contribution over those many years. I can certainly appreciate your perspective, and given our growth; we have all had to push hard to deliver against our goals. I think any growing tech company would have the same level of challenge. I believe that Verra Mobility is a company that has a purpose beyond money. We have a stated purpose to “partner with local community groups who focus on helping children who are sick, hungry or un-safe”. Over the last year, we have contributed both volunteer hours and money to great partners like Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. We are fully committed to seeing positive change for these children and hope to grow our impact as we grow our business. I wish you the greatest of success in your new career venture.

Cons

Leadership team hosts way too many meetings Firing team right before Christmas was a grinch move Constant layoffs and firings leads to overworked, underpaid and exhausted staff Corporate Culture has been ignored and replaced by bad book reading Sharing success is printed on posters and words spoken, but not backed by any action There is some covered parking, but only for the special ones Change is constant, so is bad leadership.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Our commitment to being a global leader and a great place to work does not come without effort and hard decisions. We are continuing to invest in best in class HR systems and processes that will improve our overall ability to be a place where talent can flourish. I think over the next few months you will see much of this improvement. My hope is you will see the fruit of our labor in the coming months and perhaps have a renewed sense of excitement about Verra Mobility.

Pros

Leadership is committed to creating opportunities for employees to advance their skillsets Management and coworkers have been friendly and respectful I see the company moving in a more innovative direction and looking to the future Company is actively committed to charitable causes and offers many opportunities for employees to support the community with their time.

Cons

Benefits are relatively standard, not bad, but nothing special or exciting The office is standard issue: clean, professional, but again, nothing special. No lunch options within quick walking distance, and not a great communal lunch culture. Lack of covered parking makes the Summer heat rough on your car
