Pros

Literally nothing. Whole company is a disaster.

Cons

I was a CSR for versant health and although writing this review will do absolutely nothing to change anything about this unprofessional, unorganized company, I can at least warn people thinking of working for this place. First of all the training is terrible and rushed. Even the supervisors never knew what was going on nor did anyone in any other department...so there's never any real help. They just guess at an answer. Thats about it for help. They change the procedures constantly and randomly for no real reason. They had us giving out phone numbers, and emails to providers that did not even work or go anywhere. They make members wait MONTHS AND MONTHS for things they need....using insurance THEY PAY TO HAVE! EVEN CHILDREN! We got told to have providers "appeal" claims all the time, providers never got a response from the "appeals" department, so they call us back weekly extremely angry ( and rightly so) because this company basically tells you to give people a run around. No solutions. Just hey call this number that leads no where. Keep calling. They aren't interested in helping anybody. They lose patients and money for providers, they make members wait ridiculous amounts of time. They had us using systems that for work that were ridiculously antiquated. Constant tech issues, the "portal" for providers is ALWAYS ALWAYS down or not working properly. They start you out saying you are ONLY customer service, then slowly without any pay raise we became the department that had to handle all other departments jobs. Claims, told we didn't do those at first then suddenly we did, suddenly we are also tech support for providers too, no pay raise just more work, and barely any training AT ALL for that additional work. Why have a customer service line if you arent willing to take the time to train all of us WELL. So we can do a GOOD JOB? Because they don't care, that's why. When providers requested a supervisor for any reason, we were always told to say "there's no supervisors available, they can call you back" they NEVER got calls back. So supervisors don't have to do their job and that's okay. But they will certainly stay on YOUR back for all kinds of silly things. Whatever they can think of. You take a few seconds too long to do notes and they are complaining immediately. But who cares about all the REAL problems this place has, right? Lol such a joke. The line of business for this place I was working with even printed tons of member insurance cards out, with the members social security numbers on them and sent them out that way... If that gives you any idea how completely unprofessional and unorganized this place is...There's a million other things I could mention but you get the idea. They expect you to do a job they barely prepare you for, then you'll do even more people's jobs that you didn't apply for or get hired to do, no pay raise, we were supposed to get a pay raise after training. Nobody did. HR was made aware of this by many of us, still never got the raises though. This job was extremely discouraging and depressing for anyone who wishes to actually do well at work. They make it impossible. They also refused to allow people to go on scheduled breaks or lunches, some people didn't get to go to lunch all day. In a 8-10 hour shift. So that proves they don't give a damn about employees either. You work all day and don't deserve a break or lunch cause it's "too busy". That's how they feel about it. This place is AWFUL. There are similar jobs that pay MUCH MORE and they actually run the company properly, so seek that instead. Do not bother with this place. Ridiculous is the only word that describes it. You will only enjoy working here if you are okay with being screamed at and cussed at because the company you work for refuses to get their act together. All for 14 bucks an hour when other call centers pay much more. Don't do it.

Toxic environment

Pros

The salary and benefits are decent

Cons

This is one of the most toxic places I have ever worked. Their actions do not match with their written corporate culture. There is a lot of yelling in meetings. Inappropriate, disrespectful, and abusive behavior is tolerated and condoned. It's chaotic - leadership is continually high-jacking meetings, giving conflicting information, and changing direction on what they want on a weekly basis. While executing directions given by leadership, I was continually harrassed and harangued by a subordinate. In bringing this to the attention of leadership, they agreed with me - as did HR, but refused to remove her from the team. The work volume is not manageable. It is not at all strategic and has a very immature environment, work processes, and conduct. There was no onboarding and appeared to be zero opportunities for professional development.

Pros

Absolutely nothing pros about working here. Trust and believe.

Cons

1. All of their formal engineers are under pay compare to the market. 2. Micro-managing environment 3. CIO is complete idiot and have absolutely no true vision to lead the company towards success 4. Bringing people from former companies instead of promoting people within 5. No merit increase or bonus
