Flexible hours, fulfilling mission, great co-workers. No two days are the same!

Cons

Poor management, lack of resources/support, poor communication between departments. Virtually no opportunity for advancement. Goals increase every year. 'Flexible hours' means some days you'll end up work 14+ hours starting at 4:00am and other days only work 6.

Rewarding cause, excellent coworkers and fun atmosphere for the most part. Good benefits and relaxed environment.

Cons

Schedule is terrible in the blood services industry. It's the nature of the beast. We are at the mercy of our donors who want to have us there at their discretion. Poor work/life balance
