Pros

The clients That's all I can think of

Cons

Feels like all of the different programs are pitted against each other Upper management shows great favoritism to certain centers making it difficult to effectively do your job. Toxic people in upper management positions Insurance for a family of 3 was $1000 a month.

Pros

Flexible schedule. Lots of Locations to work.

Cons

The first 2-3 layers of management are very competent and effective. Their hands are always tied because of the misguided and wasteful mandates coming down from regional and state levels. This place has so be try much potential, but all of that is squandered by this backwards-thinking old guard. Besides a few cavalier/strong managers, everyone is terrified of the person above them. Profit is their primary motivation, which makes perfect sense, but it is truly their only motivation. If they focused on providing great client support, the profits would increase at an even more exponential rate. So much time wasted on double/triple busy work type tasks. The pay is abysmal, and they cycle through staff quickly. News flash: pay more, and you’ll actually cut costs by retaining people. I don’t know the owner, so I can’t give an opinion. He strikes me as being open to better ideas, but he is surrounded and insulated by a bunch of weak “yes” men and “yes” women that haven’t presented a new idea in 15 years. Also, they tend to hire a certain level of attractiveness at their state office lol. Weird and cult like.

Thank you for your post and thoughtful response. I can assure you we are not motivated by profit. We are reimbursed by Medicaid which is the payor of last resort and one with low rates, which is why we have to be good stewards of what we get. There is no mission without a margin to support it. We are always looking for ways to make things better for the people we serve and our employees so please reach out with other ideas you may have. Thank you!
