Pros

Hands down best job I have ever had. Like with any job it has its ups and down but the ups outweigh the downs. There is a spirit of teamwork that you can feel walking in the office. People who post otherwise don't know what they're talking about. So what people like to have fun and enjoy the hours spent at work. If you can't have fun at work you shouldn't be there. I've found my home and family at Viaquest.

Cons

The only negative I can think of is Viaquest has high expectations and pushes everyone to be better but this is a big positive and challenges me to be better for everyone.

Pros

I have been with the company for a month now and it is refreshing to find this kind of team work. I have an amazing team of house managers and staff as well as managers above me who mentor and teach.

Cons

There are down sides to every job, but in this job they are related to the real life scenarios that come with working with people, the emotional complications and emergencies. This is not necessarily a con, but a fact of working with people that not everyone can handle.

Pros

Good pay if you traveled from home to home or facility to facility because you would get travel time between patients and mileage. Every month they gave admission bonuses. They had a lot of parties if you like to drink you would fit right in.

Cons

Many mandatory meetings to go to and company did not pay mileage for all travel time back home. Company promoted drinking and spent a lot of money on parties and did not give any raises.. Company does not want to pay overtime if you have a lot of patients to see everyday it did not feel like hospice work more like you were one of the facility's employees. ,they want you to rush them to get done. Patients weren't given the time they deserved in some cases Not given breaks and had to work all day without eating or going to the bathroom at one facility Not given vacation days when requested. Supervisor showed favoritism to employees that worked together before coming to ViaQuest. Not enough teamwork and to much drama. Either too much work or not enough. Company did not have your back and did not stick up for good employees. Employees cheated on their time and got paid for time not worked and got away with it and didn't get fired and that should have been immediate dismissal..Too many people on hospice services that should not have been on hospice. They liked to put on a good show for the public. Dirty company to work for and you have to constantly watch everything you say and do because if your not liked by some your fired. If you have vacation use it because if they fire you they will try to keep your vacation pay. I'm fighting for my vacation pay now of over 60 hrs.
