Pros

Very good benefits High ethical standards, and they are enforced Keenly aware of providing value to customers, stockholders and employees Good work life balance/family support

Cons

RTO for much of Engineering The organizational pendulum is swinging to centralization Stiff competition in the commercial market place Inmarsat acquisition is more of a merger given how much of a cultural shift is underway Career growth is difficult when growth is curtailed (focus is on profitability and cash flow these days).

Cons

Compensation is not that great at the moment during transition period after acquisition. Cancelled christmas party, as they don't give one in America, however, do not realise a christmas party is british culture
