Pros

- Unlimited PTO (can actually take off a lot of time, 6+ weeks per year) - Decent 401k match (5%) - Decent starting salary and benefits - Stable job if you are a Gov employee

Cons

- Many layoffs in the past couple of years (over 15% of the company) - Promotions/significant raises are hard to come by - Overall financial health of the company is okay at best but has been bad in recent times (low stock price) - Management is not transparent and open about the company direction (ex. Splitting the business into gov and non gov without warning) - WFH is getting removed for non Gov employees but not enough office space for return to office - In office mandatory for a lot of Gov positions now (closed labs work with no internet)
