Upper management often were completely clueless as to the actual project scopes, timelines, and often mishandled expectations by having a fundamental misunderstanding of the capabilities of a human. Simple limitations were lost on upper management (such as, the typing speed of an average human) and the more complex capabilities were too often misrepresented.
