      Pros

      Good work/life balance, some very smart and personable people to work with, laid back environment depending on which project you are working on.

      Cons

      Projects can be railroaded by management's disorganization or inconsistent goals, very frustrating to be slowed down by external factors.

      Pros

      Was a really great place to start after college, lots of challenging problems, new grad employees, events, and exciting things to look forward to.

      Cons

      Due to a series of mishaps with satellites and general COVID derailments Viasat has been a bit of a sinking ship for a while now. It has also become quite corporatized and lost its appeal as a small private sector company - I hope one day it will return to what it was once like but am not very optimistic.
