Nepotism runs rampant within management

Pros

One of the better benefit packages offered to employees. Tuition reimbursement even for a master's degree.

Cons

Depending on where you are at in the company, there is mandatory overtime where you could work 5 weeks straight before a weekend off while working up to 10 hours a day. Unless you know someone or are an effective schmoozer, do not expect to move up within the company. Job openings are not known (it even states in the handbook that they advertise these openings) unless you check the careers page every day. When you do end up with an interview, expect to get ghosted. Communication does not exist within the company. My advice for anyone that wants to work here is take advantage of the tuition reimbursement and leave once you established some experience.

Pros

I enjoyed working with my direct co-workers and manager and liked coming to work each day because of them. Victaulic offers a good 401K program and good health insurance.

Cons

It seems to me like the company is behind about 10 years. If having the flexibility to work from home is important to you, I wouldn't suggest Victaulic. I would also say that if you're looking for true upward mobility, the only place you could really achieve that would be the corporate facility, in Easton PA.
