Pros

There are truly great and genuine employees that work here. However, they are usually underappreciated and undervalued. Retention will be hard to keep up with once those with pensions retire. There is not much of a draw since many companies - in the Lehigh Valley and beyond - have good benefits.

Cons

Raises are not given to those who put in the work, unless you stick around and put up with the politics for 10+ years. It's about who you know, not what you know. Women make up a very small percentage of leadership - there is one diverse woman in a position of VP in the US. Diversity is lacking yet adversity is heavy. Information is kept close to the chest. It reminds me of middle school, "I know something you don't know". The culture is very hush-hush. Not usually possible to make an informed decision since key players are left in the dark. COVID was handled poorly. Employees were expected back at full capacity as of July 1, 2020. Enough said about that.

Pros

Good products. Company car and phone.

Cons

Okay company overall. Great products. Before you accept a job in sales with this company, make sure you really get to know the regional manager. Very old school type of management. My manager made my life a living h*ll which is why I am no longer with the company. During my training the other guys in my territory warned me about our manager, but he seemed like a good guy. Once I was on my own, everything changed and within a few months I realized I could no longer work for this company. I stayed long enough to get a job with a better company. The pay is decent and if you are put in a territory that has a manager with good leadership skills (they are out there, I met some of them) it shouldn't be too bad. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy work in the territory I was in.

Pros

Many amazing people that have valuable ideas and opinions if they were listened too

Cons

Lack of respect for safety and mental health of employees. Workers who did their job at home for months at the beginning of the pandemic and even had proven productivity increases were forced back to the office in the height of the pandemic when little/no safety measures were put in place (which was legally questionable). Flexibility is actively discouraged. You get in at 8, leave at 4:30, and will be judged harshly if you don’t follow suit (despite it being 2020 and having the ability to work from anywhere). Absolutely no career development. People work for 30 years in the same position and those who want more are seen as bucking the status quo. There's a particular lack of development for women too despite any promises of something else. Culture of conformity that discourages and shames people for speaking up. Antiquated old-school mentality that is not sustainable. They don't have their eye on the long-term or any sort of strategy. Desperate need for upper management to get with the times. It's painfully clear they are really out of touch with their employees and what their needs are. Zero communication to employee base. It is a systemic problem that messages are not passed down or communicated within the company. Negligible PTO policy (12 days and you can ‘buy’ 5). Raises are nonexistent - minuscule end of year increase across the company, regardless of performance
