Pros

Vida is trying to solve hard problems. I think people who enjoy working on challenging issues and trying to improve health outcomes for others will really like working here. The purpose-driven nature is embodied by all of the employees - all extremely talented and dedicated to improving healthcare. While people work hard there's a great vacation policy and good work-life balance. They're doing some cool stuff too, like exploring new approaches to GLP-1s and integrating AI in healthcare that helps compliment people, not replace them. It's innovative, it's impactful, and it's exciting to be a part of. There's plenty of room to grow and learn new things. If you're motivated to take on new challenges, you'll have the chance to learn at the highest level and make a real difference in the future of healthcare.

Cons

Some challenges in the broader digital health market, but a good outlook overall. Lots of frequent changes in business as a result of the above, which might not be good for people who enjoy long-term focus on a few ideas. Layoffs and other changes in 2023 impacted a lot of very good and talented people.

Pros

Discretionary time off, great clinical staff team, fabulous support, autonomy as preferred, fabulous clients, ability to manage own schedule and client load. Great benefits to include CE reimbursement, wellness benefits, Chrome book.

Cons

It was literally the perfect job until new management came in and without warning, explanation, or apology, sent an email saying many of our benefits were going away and that salaried employees were moving to hourly effective in 21 days. I would have to move away from great work-life balance in order to pick up more clients just to make ends meet. No market value review of compensation. We were being required to log in and out of a time card as full time employees. No regard for long-time, high achieving employees. I never had a sick day in 3.5 years, I loved my clients and required very little supervision. Sadly, as with most companies and corporate culture in America, this once amazing company was taken over by greed. It broke my heart to leave, but as I taught my clients, I needed to live out my values and this company was grossly misaligned with my values when new management took over. We weren't even introduced to the new CFO, COO, etc. There were no statements made, no communication, nothing. It was disheartening and unbelievable. Once I told my clients I was leaving, many chose not to continue therapy. This disregard for client care was more than I could handle.
