Pros

Lots of growth opportunities, good cafeteria at HQ

Cons

Very long hours, employees are expected to work 70 hours a week or more while getting no appreciation. If you can handle that you will get promoted and recognized. You can't take more than one week of PTO in a year. You get more than one week of PTO but you are expected to work as normal during that time. The unofficial rule is that you only get one week of real time off. You do also work holidays but get Christmas and Thanksgiving off. This is a great environment for young, single professionals - MBA types. Also a great environment for people who have grown up kids that are off to college. Not a good company if you are mid career and have children or a working spouse.

Pros

Associated with Danaher which may allow networking (if you have good managers that are secure in themselves)

Cons

Some observations: - Gave me anxiety and headaches daily. Keep away if you want to be healthy and have job/thrive. Some people literally will gaslight and bully you. - No career progress if you don't suck up to cliques of people that have co-existed in this cess-pool for 7-10 years. These managers who have stayed in this company for years bring back old thinking in circles in the name of innovation. - In one of the Return to work meetings, one HR executive said that "everyone should return to office similar to pre-covid days unless they have negotiated work from anywhere as she had before she took the offer". She added that she could work 3+ months from another state because she had it in her contract. Talk about being out of touch with normal people - Attrition is high - ask them about their numbers. They try to not count everyone (calling some resignations as "non-regrettable attrition") possibly to keep numbers low.
