Zero career progression, field service promotions carry zero weight, metrics change yearly, no clear path to achieving promotions or increased pay. This is a position that will require constant growth and more work on a yearly basis, with zero raises that even somewhat account for the increased responsibility/work. Bonus structure is constantly revised to limit success, it’s a maintain or lose bonus system, zero chance of actually leveraging the bonus structure to increase pay. If anything the bonus is weaponized to compel the field engineers to comply with completely out of touch metrics.
