you will never be bored, coworkers are fantastic, good to be a part of a nonprofit that helps people

Cons

low pay and under resourced. impossible to get salary adjustments or promotions unless you've already done the job for months. if someone leaves, you're expected to take on all of their responsibility with no compensation.

I have a wonderful supervisor who is very helpful. Upper management is hands-off if you are meeting your goals and expectations. Overall I enjoy my job!

Get to work with a diverse group of clients and work in a team orientated atmosphere. Working with people to better their lives is very rewarding

Cons

Working in social work doesn't pay the big bucks but it pays the bills. You do have to work some weekends and some later days.
