Managers gatekeep technical decisions to their preferred solution, engineering insights are not discussed but ignored.

Great people who are passionate about the mission

Cons

Poor management primarily due to poor communication. Personally, I had a terrible onboard experience. No one sat me down and went over what our team does and how we fit into the bigger picture of the company. Also, be prepared to work 50+ hour work weeks with no compensation for the hours worked above 40.
