This company is extremely toxic! Don’t make the mistake of joining!

Pros

This company does a great job of posing as an up and coming company... (it’s not).

Cons

This was a company that came to the public markets through a SPAC being led by Chamath. Fast forward to now and this guy has sold off all of his personal stake (any red flags yet?) Beyond that this place is very toxic. Management is very insecure and as such this affects everyone. Ask how often you work weekends or hours a day because they are understaff? (They will lie) If you enjoy being on a constant lookout of when the next round of layoffs is coming, avoid this place at all cost! I’m not disgruntled just disillusion that I join this joke of a company.

An Engineering Playground

Pros

There is lots of work available and days go by quickly. Tons of free perks are offered to entice naïve younger employees. Likely a dream job if coming with an Engineering background that likes to spend other people's money on technology that may or may not be used.

Cons

Truly a working environment that lacks fundamental leadership at most levels in the organization (with a few minor exceptions). A few ways you'll know if you would fit right in include: 1. You like to belittle and ridicule others 2. You like to blame others for your shortcomings 3. Have little to no adult interpersonal communication skills 4. Come with an egotistical mindset and likely previously worked at Space-X 5. Enjoy passive aggressive put downs/ high school behaviors for those "not as smart as the engineers".
