At best you have a 1 hour commute to work at Spaceport, NM from Las Cruces. Supervision discounts and devalues all technicians prior work experience when brought to them to help support maintenance production and help expedite repair procedures. As well as if you are qualified and licensed to perform any other maintenance procedures or processes that would help time efficiency, they will not be utilized. This is where all proactive, effective, time efficient people who want to think and work together with some ingenuity quite literally go to die. I have never been held up at every step and turn while trying to complete a repair procedure like I have while working at Virgin Galactic and have finished a job, just to turn around and completely undo everything on a constant as I did here. Was instructed that OSHA safety standards did not apply while working on the hangar floor in an industrial area at Virgin Galactic while working at their Spaceport, NM location, such as not wearing steel toed boots in an industrial work area or not wearing a hard hat while the overhead crane is in operation.
