Pros

Ability to gain lots of experience very quickly and work with a great range of departments and people.

Cons

Promotions and pay increases constantly overlooked yet roles and responsibilities constantly increased. Far too much expected of staff for compensation offered.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts – we’re really glad to hear you’ve found the experience here broad and rewarding, and that you’ve had the chance to work with great people across the business. That’s something we’re incredibly proud of – our people are our secret sauce! We also hear your point around recognition. No one should feel like they’re giving their all without that being seen, valued or fairly rewarded. We're proud to have launched pay transparency in 2025, meaning everyone has visibility of their pay range and development opportunities – coupled with an abundance of learning tools, from mentoring to a personal development pot. That said, we know there’s always more we can do to get that balance right, and feedback like this helps us keep improving. If you’d be happy to share more, we’re listening – feel free to drop us a line at people.team@virgin.com. – The Virgin People Team

Thanks so much for your kind words – we’re really proud of the mission, the brilliant people behind it, and the energy that comes with doing things a little differently. We know our goals are bold and ambitious – that’s because we care deeply about making a meaningful impact. In our New York office, the team benefits from being part of a small, tight-knit group, coupled with the exciting opportunity to collaborate with our London-based teams, as well as our broader colleagues across the Virgin Group. That said, we always want our people to feel set up to succeed – not stretched to the point of struggle – and feedback like this helps us check that balance. If there’s more you’d like to share, we’d love to hear it – just drop us a note at people.team@virgin.com. – The Virgin People Team

We love a bit of feedback – but this one doesn’t quite look like it’s for us. If you meant to review another Virgin company (or a totally different one!), no worries – easy mistake to make. We’ll leave this here just in case!
