      Nice place to work except for the salary, which is the most negative aspect of working here - and it's a big negative.

      Pros

      State benefits, telecommute once a week; working with many different technologies and great group of people

      Cons

      Salary for IT workers is way below market, and the salaries are out of whack for what an individual does. Employees that have been here a long time are making the same or much less than less experienced workers. There are also two types of workers here - the ones who do all of the work and everyone else (the stereotypical state worker).

      Pros

      Diverse student body. Lots going on. Benefits are excellent.

      Cons

      Lots of investment in the wrong places. Instead of hiring needed faculty, there are now lots of adjuncts and temporary lectures. Wouldn't send my children here.
