Pros

Diverse university, with great faculty. I have seen the university grow, attract outstanding faculty, and basically thrive under the new president. VCU cares about their students and faculty and is doing much better in that regards.

Cons

Salaries are lower than other institutions. Huge inequity between MCV (medical) and Monroe Park campuses. No tuition waiver for families at Monroe, but tuition waiver for MCV. No football team. Lack of performing arts facilities in comparison to other schools.

Pros

Salary, Benefits, Hours, Environment, Co-workers. Knowledge of co-workers is high which makes it easier to adapt to this workplace.

Cons

Quality of student is sub par. They expect to have grades handed to them with little to no effort. They become angered, and disrespectful when they do not get what they want.
