Pros

It was a lot of great experience and really helped boost my resume. The professors are usually pretty good at helping you with research and helping you with requirements you have to fulfill for classes or research. Scheduling was flexible, which was great since I was working around classes.

Cons

Get used to a lot of repetitive tasks, the pay isn't good and you will definitely have to work hard to be considered for an actual research project.

Pros

The benefits are fantastic and I rarely work more than 40 hours a week. There's opportunity to take classes and online tutorials, which is great. Campus is beautiful, too, which helps :)

Cons

There's a lot of 'hurry up and wait' and 'pass the buck' that goes on, but I typically feel empowered to do my job, which is great. Not a lot of room to move up in my specific position.

Pros

Very flexible work schedule as long as you get the minimum number of hours per week.

Cons

The job can be very repetitive.
