Pros

fast learning curve at the beginning for all non-geophysicist major employer low salary for entry level, but could get raised faster than other companies.

Cons

Fear driven working environment, firing old/handicap/boss in-favored processing imager without any legit reason, while still hiring cheap labor - new graduates Super long working hour. There are always people worked from 9am until 5am next day. High stress, high anxiety. Some leader will call you anytime for work. Hiring most international Phd students, because they can push them work hard for the sake of Green Card. No career development for seismic imager/processor. Once you are in-favored by your director, there are no chance for any promotion.
