Great company, fast pace atmosphere big on life balance and very team oriented! Sami has done a great job creating a culture that values autonomy, so you can construct your own experience. Know what you're interested in doing and go get it!

Cons

If you don't have strong self control, you can burn yourself out on all of the amazing projects. If you want career opportunities or development you have to advocate for it.

- As an engineer, I get exposure to a variety of disciplines. I work directly with physicians, nurse practitioners, health coaches, and scientific researchers! It’s a breath of fresh air for a tech worker - Great work life balance - The people are a joy to work with - Culture of “No ego.” The people really care about teaching and learning from one another. - Very active diversity and inclusion working group - well-funded - If you work at Virta, you will literally be saving lives. It’s so difficult to find a tech company that is truly helping people in need. And at no cost! We’re covered by insurance

Cons

- typical startup growing pains. Get used to change - people’s lives are in your hands. You can’t cut corners
