      Pros

      Virta lives by its company values every day. Virta listens to employees and iterates on policies in order to meet the needs of employees. Teammates support each other and are highly dedicated to maintaining our positive company culture. Leadership focuses on growth opportunities to ensure work is both challenging and fulfilling.

      Cons

      As a startup, we have to pivot our focus frequently and respond to growth opportunities quickly. This can be psychologically draining, but it's simply the reality of working for a rapidly growing company. Mental agility is required to be successful at Virta.

      Pros

      Culture, people, impact, mission, values- I started at Virta because the mission was very important to me, but quickly realized that not only do you get to do impactful work that helps people, but the people at Virta who I get to work with everyday are incredible. I have never been a part of such a supportive and inclusive community of coworkers in my entire career.

      Cons

      Startup- normal pains of a growing startup. Things are fast-paced and you have to get used to iterating quickly and dealing with constraints

      Pros

      I joined Virta at the start of the COVID pandemic, when the company was undergoing a lot of structural changes. Leadership was extremely supportive and communicative, and a sense of community was strong throughout. Virta’s culture celebrates and recognizes individuals’ accomplishments, and leadership makes an effort to keep us in touch with the impact of the work we do everyday Virta has a mature leveling structure, but the culture is flat and collaborative across functions. Overall, a great place to grow professionally and make an impact!
