I met some really great people while I worked here - smart, hard-working, sincere and nice - who are still friends. Intellectually there is a high bar for entry so there are very smart people there. Compensation is good. Work can be interesting and challenging. Initiative is rewarded. It is not hierarchical in the traditional sense and there is equal opportunity. Some charismatic management. For the industry that they are in, they obviously are paying attention to the right variables to have business success (although as you will see in the next section that may not have bearing on employee experience).

Friendly, humble culture || Very talented people || Low overhead: few meetings, no layers of management, people are trusted to do good work || Collaborative atmosphere: reducing risk or improving productivity are rewarded || No "leveling up" through promotions || Lots of variety and fast pace- few people wearing many hats and iterating very quickly. Great opportunity for learning || No clients, so (almost) no deadlines - hence no pressure or stress ||
