      Pros

      There is lot of good work and projects which are challenging and stimulating to work on which is the main reason for staying on.

      Cons

      There is lot of regional politics which makes it extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional to work, promotions and advancements are done more by connections than by ability. Lot of power is concentrated in hands of single person in departments.

      Pros

      The benefits are decent and you are working for a well known company which can look good on a resume.

      Cons

      Executive management that doesn't really have a clue what is going on. They only look at the bottom line for this quarter. Joe Saunders keeps talking cutting costs as he and the others who work in the SF ivory tower give themselves more perks and stock. Many employees are just waiting until the economy picks up and they can quit. Not a happy place to work. If you like frustration and broken systems, come to Visa.

      - Management does not delegate decision-making authority down through the ranks - Does not manage incompetent people out - Senior Management out of touch with employees - Cost cutting measures at the expense of corporate culture - Too many layers of management
