Some good, some bad... growing company with capable management, but low employee morale.

Pros

Attitude and outlook of senior management is positive and aggressive. The company has stability as a top market leader in metro Detroit area. CEO shows the ability to modify goals and objectives on the fly in order to re-establish the (positive) direction of the company. Recent growth has been witnessed (both internally and externally) and projected growth is absolutely foreseeable.

Cons

There seems to be a lack of foundation in certain areas of the business. Employees opinions don't seem to be valued. Available benefits are sub-par. Employees are nickel and dimed heavily in this area which lowers company morale and contributes to slightly above average employee turnover.

Pros

The people; executive and management support and the autonomy to own your work. This is an environment that you can excel in. VisionIT is large enough to support fortune 100 companies but small enough to be flexible and agile for their clients.

Cons

Due to the fast and continued growth – sometimes you have to wear a lot of hats. Tying into the same thought of fast growth there are times when work life balance gets blurred.

Pros

The company is growing in all the right directions. There is a sense of stability offered through their years of service acompanied with the drive paralelled to a newer company. VisionIT has a strong history backing their company initiative but their ability to adapt and seek knowledge to ensure best practices are in place is what makes VisionIT a great workplace. There's no arrogance about the success within the company. There is a true sense that every employee's voice counts and their willing to listen to any and all suggestions. Having the feeling that an idea for change or improvement can gain traction and be implemented is extremely empowering. Overall, VisionIT is an employer that empowers it's emplyees, provides outstanding customer service, seeks growth opportunities, and is heavily involved in the local community. VisionIT is a place for individuals looking to belong and directly impact the success of the company.

Cons

At this point, there's nothing relevent to be listed. All companies have their downside but the positives far outweigh any negatives. Any cons that could be listed would exist at any and all companies.
