Pros

I began working at VIP prior to having my children. During my tenure, I have been able to raise my kids and manage a healthy work/life balance. As I have moved up within the company, executive management and leadership have provided me full support, learning opportunities, challenges and mentorship. This has included teaching core values that emphasize quality service and delivery to each and every client.

Cons

With every company there are positive and negative aspects of employment. Having worked with other large and small consulting companies, VIP provides the right level of operational support. This includes IT, Payroll and HR. Each of these functions has the number one focus of supporting our client delivery team. They have defined protocols and procedures that ensure operations that service clients and employees run smoothly and efficiently. Some may consider these operations as inconvenient, however; they are critical to the overall success of the company.

Pros

Couldn't work for a better boss, Company promotes from within, Keeps me busy & I enjoy my day to day, Everyone is great, Exciting Projects, Constantly learning... the list could go on and on!

Cons

There really isn't much I could say here. Given we are a mid-size company you wear multiple hats and have to take initiative, but I don't view this as a Con. Really it is an opportunity for me to expand my professional skills.

Pros

Salary and benefits were generous. Middle management was fair to employees and very caring. Upper management, not so much.

Cons

Management's refusal to acknowledge problems with loose cannon employees.Misrepresentation of bonuses at hiring time. At hire we were told, "your compensation is X salary and X bonus." When it came time for bonuses, everyone got a fraction of what we were promised. When they were challenged on it, they said, your bonus is "up to" X amount. If it had only been one person I would have said it was a miscommunication but when a whole office has the same experience, there's something shady going on.

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed that you feel so negative about your experience at VIP and wish you much success in your future career endeavors. Bonus calculations at VIP follow a very specific formula/methodology and are based on the financial results achieved by the business unit. We take our client relationships very seriously and for many years have been able to maintain approximately 92% of our business coming from existing clients. We believe this validates that we treat them well, provide them with excellent service and at all times practice honesty and integrity in how we do business. Thanks again for your feedback.
