Pros

The office staff is the only benefit worth mentioning

Cons

Constant calls and texts to take emergency shifts. No work/life balance. Wage cap at under $17 an hour. Earned PTO of less than 40 hours while working "full time" with several years of employment and taking many many emergency shifts.

Pros

Rewarding job. Great pay. Flexible hours (24/7). Unlimited overtime. Health insurance. Calling off was easy when I was getting ill. Very understanding team members (not all).

Cons

Lack of communication, via phone call, text or in-person meetings. Nothing gets resolved when expressing concern for the lack of communication. Little to no effort to make sure as a caregiver I was okay on the job. My care coordinator didn't visit or check in with me (8 months).
