Pros
fast paced, rigorous work environment, smart people, excellent compensation, generally a "best idea wins" culture. PE firm but software investors so a very interesting blend of knowledge and expertise. firm invests a lot in training and professional development esp for front office teams.
Cons
flipside of any demanding job: long hours, considerable travel for some, minimal patience for underperformance. but all to be expected frankly it is refreshing that they don't pretend they are something else. can be a bit hierarchical at times, but pretty solid progression opportunities if you work hard / do good work.
