      Chaotic but good stepping stone

      Pros

      Visual Pak is a family owned company. It is very chaotic, and it takes a special kind of person to work here. Pros include reasonable benefits, reasonable pay, lateral and vertical advancement opportunities, and the ability to learn and train to worth with little structure.

      Cons

      There are no loyalties, there are constant shifts in management, office politics play a big part in day to day, managers micro-manage a lot, there are many gaps in processes, documentation, and training. Demand varies, the resources available vary, but you are always given the same expectation. Worst part is that you will never for a minute be secure in your position. This is not a company to work for long term, and the employees with 5+ years are far and few.

      This place has no pros!

      Cons

      Very toxic environment. Management constantly threatening our jobs, yet they do nothing to help improve process or fix what is broken. How is this place still in business? Ability to fill customer orders is non-existent. We used to do a good job servicing the customer, but last couple of years, since former Planning manager left, things have gone down hill. And fast!

      Everyone has their own agenda.....including your manager. If he thinks throwing you under the bus will get him off the chop-block, you bet he’s going to do it. NO LOYALTY..
