Pros

I sincerely enjoy being apart of this company. On a weekly basis I interact with people across the organization and have continued to experienced a high level of respect during almost all encounters. I appreciate the flexibility with scheduling and the atmosphere of work-life balance. The benefits are extremely generous and you are given the opportunity to be as successful as you want.

Cons

As the company is continuing to grow, processes and structure are continually being built. Those who are looking for a mono-tone, spoon-fed atmosphere won't enjoy this culture.

Pros

Vital has a great group of people who are some of the most talented people I have ever dealt with. Senior Management is willing to listen to new/better ways to improve the excellence of the Company. The whole company is committed to doing things the right way and stays focused on the overall mission of bringing ethically produced food to families' tables. I have a great work/life balance and am given the latitude to make decisions and do my job. It's a fast paced, exciting environment with lots of opportunities to contribute.

Cons

Because the environment is so fast paced and the company is continually growing, process and procedures are often outgrown or don't exist. It takes a constant effort to keep things updated and a willingness to change quickly at times.

Pros

Smart, driven and gregarious crew, cross functional collaboration, good vibe and energy, company provided lunch one day a week, fully stocked kitchen, excellent benefits, autonomy, short commute and schedule flexibility. It is very rewarding being part of a company that cares greatly about the welfare of our birds and the environment.

Cons

Due to substantial growth of the company, some crew must wear multiple hats. Some departments shorter staffed than others. Some processes / systems still being implemented as we grow. The fast-paced growth and hands on approach may not be for everybody.
