Pros

Great Pay for Phlebotomy Most of the people are fun

Cons

The company doesn't care for Employee health you don't get a social life The company doesn't think ahead the hours are grueling The supervisors (whoever team you're on) can't take responsibility for their mistakes and they're clueless to what's embarrassing like having a personal talk in the same room of the break room where everyone can hear. I was lied to when I got hired saying the schedule was Monday-Thursday Uniform allowance doesn't become active for a long time. so you have to pay for your own the attendance system is the most ridiculous system thought of and has no mercy for people that have personal problems going on. all the equipment is so old and not taken care of it's embarrassing to show that to donors. the people who are in position of power are poorly picked and have no business being in that position. Over worked underpaid for the amount of work. I did things that weren't even in my job description, They made me work in the warehouse. That's not my job title. I felt like I had to fight just to stay at my position

Pros

The job is very rewarding. Can directly see the impact made on the community and how your work is making a difference. Employees are friendly and happy to help one another.

Cons

Pay and benefits are not commensurate with workload or responsibility level. Many employees work 50-60 hours per week with no overtime just to accomplish their job duties. Base pay is not a livable wage for single persons. There is no work life balance and management has said that if employees are not happy to be working 50+ hours/week and want more pay, that they should look for jobs elsewhere. Although the company states they are big in diversity and inclusion, there is a clear bias when it comes to age and disability status. There is also very little cultural diversity in many departments.
