Meeting donors, donors are healthy and generally very nice people. The work is not complicated but rewarding helping donors help patients.

Cons

Turned in to a very corporate, numbers driven company. Managers’ hands are tied. Floor staff have very little say in the decisions for job that THEY do. They are quick to ask staff to work extra days and hours but deny requests for PTO due to lack of staff. The core problem is overwhelming low morale. Staff feel burned out, work harder with less. Why would new hires want to stay? It does not take long for them to realize this company does not support them whole heartedly.

Some of the people who work there are wonderful.

Cons

Literally everything. You will be working way more than 40 hrs when things are busy and they don't care that you have a life, kids, school, your own health, or whatever else to worry about. You're expected to put this job before literally anything, no questions asked, no excuses. Management is rude and catty and the shifts are like highschool cliques. The pay and benefits suck and it's hard to move up.
