Pros

Great clinical exposure for people who want to see what ER medicine is all about. Company was pretty thorough with getting emails back from headquarters and getting our checks sent and everything.

Cons

Pays pretty bad. Some of the docs are pretty cynical. CS can be rude and unhelpful. They need to standardize their training for all places. Shuffling people around to shadow different CS was frustrating.

Vigorous training provided in a DO or get fired environment. If someone does not have the required skills or experience it is a place to learn the ropes.

Cons

Low wages, unstoppable favoritism, and non stop overtime demands creating a very unhealthy work balance that is detrimental to your health. Micromanagers galore.
