Amazing company to work for! Entry level and more senior positions alike
Pros
Iv got no skin in the game here anymore but I do have a ton of gratitude for what Vivax did for my career. Its really hard to find a positive and rewarding environment looking to break into sales. I was initially weary of working in such a specialized business as exterior house painting, but through every conversation and getting to see the culture in person my gut told me to take a shot with them. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I received in depth training designed to help folks break through that entry level barrier and it built a terrific ground-up professional foundation. After finding success in my entry level sales role I was provided the opportunity to help the company acquire talent as a recruiter, I came to work everyday knowing that what I was representing was the truth, this an industry leading organization (by a long shot), Its a place people are determined to help you grow and you will build lasting relationships with those you work with. While I saw a ton of promotion from entry level to more senior positions, Vivax also hires more experienced professionals into those roles and countless times iv heard those employees tell me they have never worked in an environment this great. I was really proud to be a part of the Vivax team, I only left because life circumstances brought me back to the east coast however if not, I would have been there for years to come.
Cons
There were times the bandwidth of the business needs wouldn't make sense for us to hire every quality candidate in our pipeline. This isnt a con, but to be a part of an environment of friendly purpose-driven people you need to show that from yourself everyday. Essentially there's only so many seats on each team and you do need prove you deserve to keep that seat, helping the business reach its goals (that's extremely normal)
