The only real con I’d consider notable enough to mention is the schedule. It’s really less of an objective con and more just a personal preference, but it’s important to know that regarding specifically the SDR role, we work based on the sun. In the winters we begin work earlier in the day and get off when it’s dark around 5:30, and in the summers we begin work later in the day and get off when it’s dark around 7:30. This can sometimes make having a structured schedule on a long term basis difficult, but overtime I’ve learned to change the structure of my days based on the time of year and it’s no longer a struggle for me. Everyone is different so this may have never been a negative for others at all, but it’s something I personally had to get used to when starting the job.
